What happened to her was just... it... it was awful...
...and they attacked because it was me they were after...! But she protected us!
... even after everything she's done for us, I couldn't help her!!

...I hate to ask you this, Yuma, but tell me whatever you can. It might help.

The demon showed up at the dorm, threatening to throw a fireball at it in order to kill me. Samasu-sensei, Desdemona-sensei and Haruka-san all stepped in to try and protect the dorm while Yuya tried to evacuate everyone.

Eventually the guy started a dark game and Desdemona-sensei dueled him, but he baited her, got her angry on purpose ... and she fell for it. The guy summoned his demon form and...
... even with the last attack, Desdemona-sensei made sure to protect us...!

She got really hurt, she almost died, but another of the demons showed up. They offered to heal Desdemona-sensei but... I had to give them information on Dark Mist in order to do that.
That demon then took something out of the first demon and put it in Desdemona-sensei... I really don't know what it was but I really don't like the idea that a piece of that demon is now in her.

With those two, and the one mentioned on the community, it seems like there's three of these demons here.
And they're planning to go after me eventually. In order to kill me.
They see me as a threat.

Dark Mist...? Why were they looking for information on Dark Mist?

Dark Games, demons... It really is like it was years ago, back when I was at the Academy.

I wish I could say it'd be fine, but - if they managed to take down Desdemona, that's a really bad sign. She's one of the strongest one's here - to bring her down isn't a joke. But they... put something in her? To save her? Ugh. I don't like that either.

...Do you need protection? Do you feel unsafe at the academy, Yuma? If they're after you, then you should be honest with yourself about that. It's another question that I really hate asking, but it's something that we should discuss.

In the duel, the demon was able to do a 'Chaos Draw'. Desdemona-sensei happened to mention it was something Dark Mist could do to, so they got interested in it and wanted to know more.

Do I feel unsafe? Yes.
Do I feel scared? Yes.
Do I want protection from them? ... no.

If people protect me, then that'll mean they'll just hurt more people and I don't want anyone else to get hurt like Desdemona-sensei did! If they're going after me, then I want them to go after only me!!

...I can respect that answer, Yuma. If you need my help, you only have but to ask.

But - hold on, Chaos Draw? You're sure that's what it was, right? Exact wording and all?

Yes. It preformed a chaos draw.
I remembered that the demon that possessed Hibiki months ago was also able to do that. I'd forgotten about it until I saw that demon also do the same thing.

...If these things can perform a Chaos Draw, then they must be connected to Dark Mist, somehow.

Ugh. Shot in the dark, did any of them mention where they were from? Or anything else that stuck out to you?

Oh man. The first guy gave a really long name... but...
...something about blazing seas? And being one of the highest lords of the... uh... Ehttoslyeet? I really don't know how it's spelled.

You've heard of it before?

Only in fragments. It was the clue that I was given that connects this, Dark Mist, the Numeral Hunters, the Rank-Up Magics... everything.

The other clue I was given, in connection with it, was 'The brighter the light, the stronger the shadow cast from it.' I assumed that it was some sort of corruption, but...

...so everything that's going on is somehow connected through this.

But the question is, what and where exactly is this 'Ettosyleit' place and why does that connect everything.

That's the big question, yeah.

If they all can do a 'Chaos Draw', I assume that has something to do with it. Is that something native to where they come from? I don't know, but it's an angle worth investigating.

So it's possible that Dark Mist and these demons came from this same place.
Though the demons didn't seem to know anything about Dark Mist at all.

Then there's Alex with her 'Galaxy Draw' and me with my 'Shining Draw' which have similar abilities to 'Chaos Draw'. Does that mean we're somehow connected to this place too?

...Wait, Alex had a Galaxy Draw?

...And... explain Shining Draw to me some. This might be something I have to write down. Is it tied to you and Hope?

I gather a sort of light power in my hand and it allows me to create and draw a card that I need at that time. So far they've resulted in me drawing cards called 'ZEXAL Weapons' or 'ZW' which are cards that work specifically with Hope.

...So your Shining Draw is connected specifically to Hope, is what you're saying.

And these Demons and Number 96 had 'Chaos Draw', which operated in a similar fashion.

Hm... that's... something to be looked into. There might be enough there to reason a connection between the Numbers in general, these 'Draws', and the Demons from Ettosyleit.

Yeah. It seems like there really is a load of similar stuff going on here.

I guess I'll let you know if I learn of anything new.
