Event Post

*Four days after Yuya had woken up, you hear that Yuma is also now awake.
When you arrive at the infirmary, you see Yuma sat up slightly in his bed, leaning against the pillow. He is definitely a far cry from the way he usually is. He's very quiet and looking very subdued. There's not the usual sparkle of energy in his eyes, instead he seems to just be staring blankly at nothing. The dark marks under his eyes tells you that he is still suffering heavily with exhaustion.
Feel free to visit him. A familiar face may cheer him up!
Yuya is also still in the infirmary, so threads can also involve him if you want him included in the threads!*

*Yuma nods a little.*
I woke up last night.
*He then looks over to her.*
Yuya told me that you and Alex were the ones who brought us here after we both collapsed.
Thank you.
no subject
I appreciate the thanks, but you shouldn't be thanking me. In fact, that's why I'm here.
*she bows her head. At both Yuya and Yuma.*
I apologize. On behalf of my cohort's actions, but also at my inaction. I did not realize what that card could have done, and I was almost entirely unaware of what happened.

*Yuma shakes his head slowly.*
You warned me that it could be unstable when you gave it to me.
I don't think any of us knew what it would do. If you didn't know, then that couldn't be helped.
In the end, I was reckless with it.
It worked the first time, so I thought it would work again.

... Though even with that, I'm still very angry. I don't like that she was watching what was happening from a distance, like it was a show for her.
Can either of you tell me what exactly led up to the events, that you used that card?
(1/2)
She appeared in front of us and challenged Yuma to a duel. She said she wanted to see his 'progress' and mentioned that his name was highlighted in some reports she received, but she wouldn't tell us where the reports were from.
(2/2)
In the duel, she was using deck destruction to try and push me into a desperate situation. She managed to get my deck down to one card... and that one card was the Rank-Up-Magic. I knew that if I used that to get out Hope Ray V, I would of won... so I played it.
Even she told me not to.

Even though she did tell you to not use it... it was wrong of her to approach you with the purpose of pushing you into a corner. It was wrong of her to go off and do it.
I guess I don't entirely blame you, for making that decision, however. If I were pushed to a single card... I would have done the same thing, if it assured my victory. Your actions were natural, in that case.
But it's still something worth apologizing to you, for. You shouldn't have needed to experience that.

*He still feels he's to blame for what happened, but it seems like she really wants to apologize to him.*
I don't hold any hard feelings towards you at all, so I accept the apology.
no subject
*she looks at Yuya*
I apologize to you, as well. You took on a lot, by dueling for your friend, here. That was... A great responsibility to bring upon yourself.
Can I ask for your name?
no subject
I'm Sakaki, Yuya.
no subject
You're the one who defeated Aegis and Achilles, correct? With one other.
no subject
*He nods.*
I dueled them alongside my other friend, Gongenzaka.
no subject
You clearly have an impressive power behind you. I take it that dragon that appeared during the duel... It was new, wasn't it?
no subject
*He nods.*
Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon was created through the bond I share with Yuma. It's not the first time I've had a dragon come to me like that.
no subject
*shakes her head* Otherwise... That is all I wished to do. I only wished to apologize for the trouble this caused for you. I can tell you're injured and exhausted.
no subject
*Yuya gives her a nod and a small smile.*
Thank you. I don't hold any hard feelings either, so it's fine.
no subject
... If you feel you should, you're welcome to return that Rank-Up-Magic card. But it's entirely up to you what your decision may end up being. Your actions are your own.
no subject
I... *He pauses, uncertain on the answer he should give.*
...I'll... I'll keep it. For now. Even if I don't use it anymore, I at least know it's being kept out of other's reach if it stays with me.
no subject
If you'll excuse me, though... My time here, generally, is very short.
no subject
Thank you. For visiting us both.
no subject
*with that, she bows her head again, and turns to go.*
[MEANWHILE, OUTSIDE OF THE INFIRMARY]
When Sadame approaches, Shirou in tow. Labrys's expression changes to surprise, as she... somewhat didn't expect to see anyone here, now. Especially one who looks like...*
You...
Re: [MEANWHILE, OUTSIDE OF THE INFIRMARY]
Yes. Me. You are one of the Barians, correct? ... Is there a reason why you are here, currently?
Re: [MEANWHILE, OUTSIDE OF THE INFIRMARY]
I was... visiting, to offer my apologies to Yuma Tsukumo and Yuya Sakaki, for the events that occurred. If this is troublesome to you, then don't worry. I'm leaving shortly.
