...and, to whoever's in charge of the Sakana apartments ... a few of our windows are kinda... smashed.

This means a lot to us.

Not MUCH time has passed as there's a sound of knocking at the only apartment with broken windows.

Outside is a woman wrapped in about seven blankets, with take-out food balanced in her arms, and a few bags hanging from about her elbows with 'festive' packaging.

*A moment after you knock, Yuma answers the door.
He looks like a complete wreck. He also has a small cut on the left side of his head which thankfully isn't bleeding anymore, but it's obvious he hasn't tended to it.*

Ah, jeez. She smiles gently at you.

"Ah. About... what I had expected. Here's some blankets for you two, until we get situated somewhere that's not freezing, and some fast food. Brought enough for four people. I know you're probably not hungry, but you should try to eat at least a normal person amount.

Sit down, sit down, I'm gonna look at that gash on your head and her and maybe help clean up a bit."

*Yuma manages to give her a small, grateful smile in return.*

*He steps aside to allow her into the apartment. Once inside, he leads you to the kitchen. On the way, you pass the living room, where the door is slightly ajar. You can sort of see the state the room is in through the small crack.
Once in the kitchen, he motions to a table where you can put the food down.*

Kotori's currently in our room. She's still out. I think it's just a matter of waiting for her to wake up. I think she just exhausted herself when the power blew up. I know I've kinda done the same more than once when over-using my own ability.

"Yeah, well. You can throw some more blankets on her if she looks cold."

She hrms as she sets the food and packages down, alongside the blankets in a pile and can cross her arms properly and huff before she starts looking at the cut on your forehead.

"If Souha's coming over, you two can meet with them. I'll... if you're willing, I can start reorganizing the living room while they're here, save you some clean-up in the future."

I...

*He fell silent for a moment. He felt he should be the one responsible for tidying up the disaster in the living room, but he knew right now he should really except any help offered to him. He knew he wasn't in a state to even think about tidying up and this would at least give him the chance to concentrate completely on helping Kotori.
He gives her a small nod.*

...yeah. That would really help a lot. Thank you.

"Anything else you two need?"

She stands up, straightening out her blouse and finally shrugging at the cut.

"Clean this out, don't think it's bad enough to need stitches or anything..."

A-ah, yeah, I... completely forgot about this cut on my head. I guess I should probably get it cleaned up, or Kotori will freak out over it when she wakes up.

*He looks over at Kiko, giving her another small smile.*

Thanks. You're already doing so much for us.

"Yeah, because she's going to be worried about you more than herself and vice-versa."

A small shrug.

"What're friends for, Yuma? Have good times with when they're good and someone to help you through the bad ones."

Yeah.
Yeah, that's right. We all gotta look out for each other.
And if there's ever a time when you need help, we'll be there for you too.
