Well, that wasn't fun... I just had to tell my sister that I'm being threatened with being expelled and she completely chewed me out over it!! Urgh.

So, yeah, Yuzu, Yuya and I kiinda got temporarily arrested by the island security team for dueling after hours in a restricted location. We're being threatened with expulsion, but they're allowing us to do expulsion duels so we can fight that decision! But until then we're suspended from all classes until those are arranged...

ARGH! And this is all because we decided to stand up to Desperado!! I don't think they even believed me when I said we'd saved the school from a demon that was trying to open a gateway for it's demon friends!

On top of that, it was a dark game and I not only feel exhausted from it, but I jarred my shoulder in it again because I landed on that when Hope was destroyed!

... But did you manage to... resolve that stuff? With Desperado?

I'd ask if you're okay, but I imagine that's sorta a silly thing to ask right now.

Um, well, we didn't really get to speak to Hibiki, their leader, after the duel but... the duel was originally meant as a way to sort out our issues, though that kiinda got sidetracked by the fact Hibiki got possessed by this crazy demon thing.

So... I don't know if it's resolved but... Hibiki and Hayate got arrested by security too, though I don't know what's happening with them.

... Well, at least it sounds like you managed to find out quite a bit. And they were arrested...

Getting possessed by a demon, though? That's worrisome. ... You seem like you have some bad luck with that. Demons and all.

It seems so. I'm really hoping that doesn't continue to be a thing.

Demon? Gateway?

Explain.

Um, some demon possessed our opponent in the middle of an Action Duel dark game and it tried opening some gateway through the school's main server.

...who are you?

I need details. Any odd phrases, actions, appearances, or the like. How did the opening manifest? ...you seem to suggest it used a computer, solid vision, I'm presuming, to help it achieve that end.

The demon never gave a name or anything, but it apparently was a rival of Beeleze which I faced against during the holidays. Thankfully the opening of the thing didn't happen, as the demon became too focused on trying to kill us. All it did was get to the server and started calling for it's comrades.
But, yeah, it was using the action duel dark game we were all in.

Beeleze... ...oh, so it's a duel spirit? The way you talked I thought it was something properly extra-planar. If it's just a spirit the dragons or whoever can probably handle it, eventually.

The duel was originally just supposed to be a harmless duel between me, Yuya and Hibiki to sort out our differences and hear each other out, but Hayate activated a dark game and it made the entire action duel field spread out around the academy. So us and Hibiki decided to go to the main server of the school to try and shut the action duel down, but when we got there, Hibiki got possessed by this demon thing that tried to use the server to open a gateway for it's demon friends to come through.

Apparently this entire thing caused an evacuation of the island too...

... Hayate was... That guy that dueled Sakaki way before, right? He had the ability to make a dark game?

Though clearly he wasn't very good at it. Sounds like he missed the point.

Who's this Hibiki guy, though?

Yeah, that's him. And I guess so? I think he tampered with something to cause it, but he definitely didn't use a lantern like the other guy did.

Ah, Hibiki was a guy in Ra Yellow, around the same age as me. He seemed like a cool guy and to be honest, he was kinda friendly and polite even after everything was revealed, but...
... it turns out he was the leader of that Desperado group. His mother wrote these prophecies that he thinks are referring to us.

Well, one thing's for sure, he seems like the kinda idiot who'd miss the point of making a Dark Game at all... or would let it get to the point of spreading so far, it sounds like.

... Always the polite ones, it feels like. I don't know if I really met him or not, I'm bad with names. But... sounds like it's a bummer for you.

Yeah... I think Hibiki, Yuya and I could of been friends if it wasn't for that prophecy.

Well. Not to sound mean or something, but it sounds like that ship's sailed, for now.

Maybe one day it can be different? Things change. People change. No one's so much a constant that things can't happen.

But right now, it sounds like you have other priorities.
