[Slightly Late Dream Event Post]
*Oh Yuma, always late to everything!
Due to the lingering effects of Cosmo Queen, you may find yourself stood on a ledge sticking out from the side of a large mountain. If you look over the side, you can't see the bottom of this towering cliff nor a way down, but if you look up, you can see the top a long way up above you. While looking up, you may spot what appears to be a young teenage boy who is climbing the side of the mountain, no safety harness or anything. Above him, at the top of the cliff, is the shadowy figure of someone else. You can tell by the build that this other person is male, but he is also shouting to the young boy, giving him encouragement.
"Keep going! Kattobing, Yuma!!"
Despite how the boy is obviously struggling to climb towards the man, the encouragement does seem to help him a great deal as his climbing beings to speed up, but as the boy reaches up with his left hand to climb further, the part of the cliff he has his hand of suddenly breaks away and the boy yells as he begins to fall.
Normally, this is where he'd wake up, but today he has YOU there and whether you know this is a dream or not, you can do whatever you want to help save Yuma. Call out a duel monster, fly, whatever takes your fancy.
Better save him soon though, he's falling fast!*

Water? That must've been some fortunate water, then... Why were you climbing up a cliff?

*A realization hits Yuma and he looks up at the top of the cliff.*
...dad. DAD?
*Yuma seems to wait for a response, but he looks sad when there isn't one.*
no subject
*he keeps trying to look, looking saddened*
... Why isn't he there?
no subject
*Yuma's voice echos around them loudly. If anyone was up there, they would of heard it, but still no response.*
I was sure he was there...

*It's difficult to tell if Yuma actually believes this, or if he's just fooling himself into believing it.*
Even though I fell, I should just try and try again until I get to the top, then my dad will be there for sure!! KATTOBING!!
*Yuma begins to try and climb the cliff again. Though if you look around, Shinji, maybe you'll see an easier way up, even if it seems to come out of nowhere.*
no subject
*he gestures to the easier way. it does look easier. ... why wasn't it around, before?*
no subject
Oh, haaah, I didn't see that there before! Up we go!
*Yuma runs towards the "stairs" and starts running up them. Normally he would of taken the more difficult way to challenge himself, but he mostly just wants to see if his dad is at the top.*

Dad---!
*Yuma stops still and goes quiet soon after.
There's no one at the top and no evidence that anyone had ever been there at all.*
no subject
... I... Guess he isn't here.
no subject
...I thought I'd finally found him.
no subject
*he really hopes he's not being too forward on this, but he's curious now.*

Both my mom and dad are adventurers. They travel all over the world and bring back tons of awesome artefacts. Sometimes my dad would even take me rock climbing! Just me and him!
*There seems to be a real gleam in his eyes as he talks about them. It's obvious that he thinks very fondly of his parents, but his look of fondness soon turns to sadness as he slowly looks away from Shinji and at the floor.*
Then one day they went out on an adventure and they never came back. No one could find any evidence to where they went. It's like they vanished. Eventually, people just stopped looking for them.
*He looks up at the sky, which is suddenly filled with stars. As he does, you'll notice that he has wrapped a hand around the strange pendent he always wears.*
I believe they're still somewhere, though. My dad used to talk about his dream to see other worlds. Maybe he got the chance to see one...
no subject
... Did you get that from them?
no subject
My dad gave it to me. I keep it with me at all times because it's what gives me my never give up spirit, "Kattobing!"
As long as I have this, I can take on any challenge!!
no subject
It's good to have something that'll keep you motivated like that. To be ambitious like that.
*... looks back up at the sky*
... Maybe he did get to see another world. Maybe that's where he and your mom are. A lot of strange things are around, after all.
no subject
I'm gonna keep my promise to my dad to never give up and become a great duelist that will take on any challenge! Then when I've reached that, I'll go and find them myself!!

Suddenly, the area, including Yuma, starts fading to white before your very eyes and you soon find yourself waking up in the safety of your bed.
What a weird specific dream THAT was.*
