[Slightly Late Dream Event Post]

*Oh Yuma, always late to everything!

Due to the lingering effects of Cosmo Queen, you may find yourself stood on a ledge sticking out from the side of a large mountain. If you look over the side, you can't see the bottom of this towering cliff nor a way down, but if you look up, you can see the top a long way up above you. While looking up, you may spot what appears to be a young teenage boy who is climbing the side of the mountain, no safety harness or anything. Above him, at the top of the cliff, is the shadowy figure of someone else. You can tell by the build that this other person is male, but he is also shouting to the young boy, giving him encouragement.

"Keep going! Kattobing, Yuma!!"

Despite how the boy is obviously struggling to climb towards the man, the encouragement does seem to help him a great deal as his climbing beings to speed up, but as the boy reaches up with his left hand to climb further, the part of the cliff he has his hand of suddenly breaks away and the boy yells as he begins to fall.

Normally, this is where he'd wake up, but today he has YOU there and whether you know this is a dream or not, you can do whatever you want to help save Yuma. Call out a duel monster, fly, whatever takes your fancy.

Better save him soon though, he's falling fast!*

It means to never give up no matter what the challenge!! And right now that means getting to the top before you do!

::Laughs with that laugh that sounds like it was cut on the wrong audio track::

You intrigue me! Let's see who gets there first, how 'bout it!?

*Yuma smirks.*

Heh, you're on!

*And he continues climbing as quick as he can up the side of the cliff.*

::And I'm going to continue climbing at an equally steady pace::

*As Yuma climbs, he begins to wonder if his dad really is at the top. Maybe he didn't hear him before when he shouted out for him. Maybe he's up there waiting for him!
The thoughts of seeing his father again begins driving him, as he sees the top of the cliff getting closer and closer.*

::Climbing now at near tandem with you. You gotta beat him!::

KATTOBING, ORE!!

*With his signature catchphrase, and one last burst of energy, Yuma attempts to push forward in order to get to the top first! He almost stumbles a few times as he rushes to the top, but he soon reaches it and pulls himself up... before collapsing in a heap, feeling exhausted from the climb.*

::They finish climbing a minute or two later, breathing a bit heavily.::

That... was a dozy.

*Yuma quickly gets up to his feet happily, clenching his fits.*

Haha! I know, right!? That was loadsa fun!!

Now I just need to find my dad!!

*Yuma starts looking around the area obviously very hopeful on finding something, but a quick glance around will tell you that there's no evidence that anyone else had been up there at all. The only footsteps seen on the dusty rocks is their own.*

::Standing quietly behind you, arms behind their back.::

*Yuma glances around the area as the hope of seeing his dad fades from his face.*

...he isn't here. It looks like he never was here.

And yet we both heard him.

I know..!! But...

...maybe we both imagined it or something. There's no-one but us here.

So what was he like, your "Dad", you called him?

[kattobingore]

He's amazing! He and my mom are adventurers that travel all over the world and find loads of ancient artefacts that they bring home!
I used to get to do things like rock-climbing with him and he was the one who taught me to never give up, no matter what the challenge.

"Kattobing!"

*Yuma's face lights up as he talks about his parents. It's obvious to see that he is very close to them and thinks the world of them.
Eventually, though, the smile disappears from Yuma's face.*

...they both went missing when I was younger. They went out on an adventure and they didn't come back. No trace of them was ever found.

A lot of the time they couldn't mention the exact locations where they went, some of the places were super hidden and they said they didn't want the locations getting out to the wrong types of people.

How quaint. Do you think they're still out there, little hero?

Of course they are and when I'm able to, I'm going to go find them!

*He seems very confident about that!*

... I wonder if reality will respond to your wish.

::Looks up wistfully, your hair blowing in a breeze.::

Though, I do admire your spirit... hrm... What is your name?

Tsukumo, Yuma.

[arknpcs4]

::Their head pops down, thinking things through. Tapping their fingers. Raising an eyebrow.::

Tsukumo. ... That wouldn't by any chance be the Kanji 9, 10 and 9...?

[kattobingore]

Er... yeah. Why'd you ask?

::Laughs, with that off track laugh again.::
