Ah, geeze, I feel so sore all over, but I guess I should consider myself lucky, after what happened.

I found out more about the group targeting Yuya and me. They're called "Desperado" and it seems they've moved from "stupid threats" to outright almost killing me and my best friend. They kidnapped Kotori and gave me two choices; Leave Duel Academy or go to a location to duel someone. I chose the second one, but I was forced into this kind of duel called a "dark game", which makes everything super real.
And believe me, being repeatedly slammed into the floor by a giant demon thing is not fun when it's all real.

It seems the reason they've been targeting Yuya and me is because they think we're part of some prophecy about two kings with "medallions" who'll bring about the end of the world or something and that we'll awaken a "great power" through dueling.
Well, I guess I've already covered the "great power" part. That door dream I was having? Yeah, wasn't just any old dream.

I don't know if this prophecy thing is true or not, or if it means anything, but all I do know is these guys have stepped up their game, big time.

Yuya and I felt it was for the best to keep these details public, to alert both the staff of Duel Academy that this is going on and to alert our other friends, in case they start to become targeted as a way to get to either of us.
